AMBER Information Session

AMBER is designed to provide technical assistance expertise and individualized coaching for small businesses to scale their operations. You will learn the tactics and best practices necessary to achieve sustainable growth through weekly one-on-one and monthly peer group sessions. The next cohort will launch in October and run for 16 weeks through February 15, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Minority for-profit companies
- Montgomery-county-based business
- Preference is given to companies in business for a minimum of 2 years but not required
- Commit to all meetings scheduled with the coach (minimum of one hour per week virtually)
- Attend monthly peer group sessions
BENEFITS:
- 20+ hours of one-on-one coaching
- Development and strategies for key performance indicators
- Monthly peer group sessions with the subject matter experts and procurement officials
- Completion or update of your business plan
- Check-in with your coach 6 months after you complete the program
- Networking and educational opportunities with officials, legislators, and collaborators
- Up to $1000 of Subject Matter Expert time (e.g., legal, marketing, human resources)
- Promotional assistance for your company
- Membership in a local chamber of commerce
Applications will open after the information session. All applications will be accepted until September 7th at 5 pm. Companies accepted to the AMBER program will be notified by September 22nd.
